ok i am looking for a KICK ASS sculptie artist who can make me a kick ass statue to go smack bang in the middle of Dranch, a post appocalyptic british based sim,

I am looking for a Horse with a man (knite?) on it, it must be shaded, and look like it is made of stone, ALSO it must look slightly ruined (like you see some of the iron inside the statue)

I would like to be passed the texture that accompanies the statue and the statue itself to be mod/no copy/no trans so i can modify it.

i will pay 15k (more if its REALLY bloody good)

there are a few statue sculptie artists around, but i can't remember any of their names. try contacting some of the members of the "colleges" and see if they have a network that includes such artists.

also, ask Tommy Parrot. he has a HUGE gallery sim and has lots of interesting things there in Ginsberg, as well as a list of artist friends as long as my arm.

There are different ways of doing it. One is that the piece is commissioned, and then the creator has no rights in the piece at all. All right belong to the one who pays for it. That's worth more than a piece that is made for someone, and rights are retained (to sell, for instance). That's worth much less, and 15k is a good price.

Completely agree. It seems sadly so many rush to be one of the first with the "clever and funny" replies in his threads, its almost laughable because you can see it happening

Yeah but if you read some of his earlier threads where he personally attacked many of us and there are some who have stated he has griefed them in world it's perfectly understandable. Oh, and let's not mention his admitting crashing a sim cause he was mad at the sim owners and then justifying it. I'm not saying a person shouldn't be forgiven but sometimes reputations die hard.

having just watched some tv focused on kenya, and the political trouble going on, i am reminded that the bbc commentator noted that some folks are lucky to earn a dollar a day.. it might buy a loaf of bread and contribute to a poor meal..

i realise thats a deep subject.. and relative to circumstance, but i do think its important to realise how fortunate one is sometimes.. perspective makes a great statue...
