I'm in the process of building a small mini mall that will have a bunch of stores thats i want to rent out. but, i can't figure out how to make those rental boxes i see at other shops. i haven't even seen anything like them in any of the many free item areas i've visited either.

so, can anybody clue me in on how to make one?

You can do a search of the Scripting Forums for "Rental Boxes", or visit other malls and see who makes theirs...if you don't mind buying a rental system from someone else.

You can get free rental boxes on slexchange, but becareful when choosing one as some of them may charge commission for it to be supposedly free.

I think I have a retal system in my inventory thats copy/transfer, If I can find it I'll drop a copy on ya.

btw, you don't need to have rental boxes. you can deal with your tennants directly.

I've just set up a small roadside parade of shops - 3 for rent and one for me to use.
I've used '4 rent' boxes. I bought them for L$250 - they are copiable so you can use as many as you like although you need to activate each one separately. However, I haven't got any tenants yet!

Personally, I would not advise ever using a "free" vendor system, even if it comes from a trusted party, unless they scripted it themselves. You just never know.

Have seen a decent system called SF Networks (Simba Fuhr). If you check his profile, you can check it out. Its runs well and very easy to use. It was inexpensive compared to a few of the best.

Best of luck on your new venture!
