Despite our Best Efforts...something unexpected has gone wrong...it's the weekend..what do you mean "it's unexpected !!!!"

There I was last night working away on a building project..then I logged off and lost five hours work..so it was with baited breathe tonight that I logged off - just to see what would happen, I tried to log back in. What happened ? I couldn't get back in...that's what...

"Despite our best efforts something unexpected has gone wrong" was the message that greeted me.

Now let me get my calculator out....As an Island owner I used to pay 295 US a month..now thanks to VAT I pay 347 US..that's 11.6 US per day. So when SL crashes do I get 11.6 US per day deleted from my monthly account..dream on buddy. Is it just me (of course not) or are we getting totally screwed here..11.6 US per DAY..ARE WE MAD..there are people with 1024 square metres that pay less than that a month.

Let me just check that..yup..11.6 US PER DAY!!! for a service we can't even access!!!

So how am I sending you this thread..because I'm using my MacBook that's why..seems I can't get into SL or the Forum with a PC, but hey..no worries with a Mac.

Sorry if I sound a little 'pissed off' gang..it's because I am..pissed off at the lousy service we get here for a shit load of cash!!

Maybe put new projects or copies in a storage prim or Thinc box before you logoff? I'm at the basic building stage and I was advised to do that with anything I really didn't want to lose.

There are times when I believe that it actually is their best effort.

Of course one person's "best effort" might be another's "barely trying", but... *sigh*
