its all goen wrong help

ok been having some problems with my router today which reulting in me loging out of sl (or so i thought) and re starting laptop and router. That goes fine but then I try to log back into sl and get the message system is logging you out account wont be avaibale untill. So I wait till well after the time it says only tp get it happen again.


so I log in with my alt to see my main lexie is still logged in I can even see and sned ims to her.

Beacuse I have the advanced menu activated and the setting so i wont log out if akf im kinda stuck.

Is there enything i can do to force lexie out so i can then log her back on

You can try sending her a single Linden dollar. If that doesn't work, ask the estate owner (if it is estate land) to restart the region, or submit a support ticket asking LL to restart the region (if it is Mainland).

ok i read some posts where people have had the same problem so i have tried sending her an im and money this hasnt done a thing so i found ehr and tried bumping her but i just walk throught her im just hanging around now hoping to catch teh sim owner

Log in to a different region. I use Rosedale. Any one you know the name of will work.

Hi Lexie. Your avatar has been "ghosted". SOmetimes, not often, this clears up on its own after a few hours. Usually, though, the only thing that will fix it is a sim restart. (Sending an IM or dollar etc.. used to work, but doesn't any more). So yes, you need to get the sim owner to restart the sim. If you cannot get hold of the owner for a full day or more, then submit a support ticket. Even a basic account can submit a ticket for this; it stops you from being able to use your account.

Thanks it more annoying than anything especially as i have a buisness to run in sl, Ive logged in my alt and am hanging around for sim owner to appear. Typically really they are normally around every eve but tongiht when i need then not a sign of them

From the log in screen, where you can pick either Home or Last Location as your login place, just type in the name of any other sim you know.

If you do not have that option, use the menu at the top. Edit > Options. There should be a check box labeled something like
[ ] Always display location on log on screen.
Check that, hit apply and you will see the location picker at the bottom next to your name and password spots.

tried it but it still wont let me log in i will just have to sit and wait i guess. thanks for the help though

The Sim Owner can help you, or see if there are any estate assistants listed in his or her profile as alternative contacts.
