Would like some opinions on this one please.
I have the 7300LE turbocache 512mb card at the present it works not too bad at all on sl but I do not it is now below the system requirements but was at the top of the list a couple of years ago!! So I am now thinking of buying a new card, but which one I really don't know - definately not an ATI
Any recommendations on what card works best on sl your opinions or recommendations would be very much appreciated, thank you.
Oh adn the card is a pci express

I have 2 locations to SL at one the PC has a Nvidia 7600. At the other a 7900, both handle SL very good for me. Advise I was given was 8800 best with 7900 second, but I found 8800 for me to be sky high, so I got 7900 far cheaper. There is a chart in the SL Blog web site listing many popular cards and gives a graphic presentation of how they rate, I suggest you search it out. Love June

You'll probably get a lot of recommendations to get a 8800GT or GTX. But, if you want to save a little money try the 8600GT. I get 35 to 50 fps in places with a fair amount of activities consistantly..........and I only have 256 on board VRAM too.

no idea on your question but speaking of nvidia, their stock looks cheap right now at $19, could be a good buy
