oK IM FAIRLY NEW HERE I AM HAVING SOME ISSUES AND THERE DOESNT SEEM TO BE ANY KIND OF SUPPORT HERE WHICH SUCKS AND IF THERE IS IT SURE IS HARD TO FIND.... SSO HERE IS MY PROBLEM I AM SEEING RED ON ALOT OF THINGS ON SL TREES DOOR FRAMES BIKES AND SO ON IS THERE ANYWAY TO FIX THIS PLEASE HELP

It sounds like you may have "Highlight Transparent" turned on; if you do, go to "View" at the top of your screen, and about 1/2 or 2/3 of the way down is "Highlight Transparent". If it has an 'x' by it, click it again to turn it off.

If it doesn't, you probably have 'show scripted objects' turned on, and I'm afraid I don't remember the sequence for that, and I'm not in-world right now to check.

As Solomon said, most likely "View / Highlight Transparent" is checked unintentionally. Possibly Control-Alt-T was pressed by accident at some point.

If not that, probably View / Beacons are on (e.g., highlighting scripted objects) which can be toggled with Control-N.

Like the other said, highlight transparent is prob'ly it. Or beacons, which was also mentioned.

Meanwhile, a friendly tip? I know yer new an all, but really, all caps angry posting isn't the best way to go. It can be confusing, sure, and suff like highlight transparent (and show updates) seems to come up a lot around here. I'd also really recommend spending some time in secondlife.com/support, which has some useful stuff, too.

I think it was an accident on the caps. The first letter was small. Probably hit the caps lock instead of the shift?

I make this mistake all the time, and I'm not a touch typist, so I can go quite a ways before I catch myself. I vote for giving the guy a break on the caps. Sounds like he has an answer to his question.
