I know, another thread about ginko.. yehaw... I know, your all tired of seeing it... But i know the owners of WSE, and Ginko both read this forum (not naming names to stay within the rules) and as resident of SL, i'm looking for an answer... neither of which gives a viable way to contact them.
I had a balance with ginko... it was my savings account to be used eventually towards my trip to see the woman i've fallen in love with, or to pay for our wedding ingame. Yes I knew the risks... and I'm not blaming Ginko for what happened... but my balance with them was never transfered to WSE bonds like everyone elses was, talking to WSE folks they say sorry about my luck... but my money is gone, vanished into a void... I'd really like some answers as to why I never received my GFB's, and if i truely have been <censored> out of the money I had with Ginko at the time of closing... So if anyone from WSE, or Ginko would care to respond, or send me an ingame tell I would really appreciate it.

There is lot of people effected. Some truly believed there money would be safe and that it wasn't a risk. I seriously doubt those in charge care about how many people they have hurt. Just hope there is such a thing as Karma in SL.

Just hope there is such a thing as Karma in SL. sadly there was lots effected, but very few who have nothing at all now... at least the others got bonds so they could try to recouperate some of the losses using WSE. I can't say the same since I didn't which is what really has me irked.

- Micheal Moonlight Send an email to wse@hopecapital.com.au. Theres a chance they may be able to give you some ginko bonds, even though they are crap it's better than nothing.

Did you try https://ginkofinancial.com/contact.php ? I don't have personal experience contacting Ginko, but if I was in your shoes I'd try that link and IM's to inworld Ginko group officers, Ambassador, etc. Surely they've a huge backlog, but everyone I know personally that's had problems like yours has gotten them resolved.

Keep in mind also that the same guy who screwed you all over and took your money also owns 35% of the WSE. Which when you think about it is a bit odd... I mean he can't give you your money back yet he still owns 35% of the WSE? Things that make you go hummmmmmmm.....

The only helpful discussion you can have about this scandal is with your attorney. It’s all been said here before. Take action instead, sheesh!!

Take action instead, sheesh!! As i said in my original post, i'm not mad or angry with ginko... nor do i have any wish to see the owner in court, I don't hold him at blame for ginko going down hill, it was us the customers who did it. All i want is the same stocks in ginko that everyone else got so i can work on rebuilding my funds....

I think or thought everyone automatically who had a ginko account there funds were transfered to WSE. My friends found there bonds from what was there ginko balance when they joined and registed at WSE. AKA if you had 95000l in Lindens in Ginko you should automatically have 95000 in bonds but the value is like 75 percent less right now.

Take action instead, sheesh!! Not everyone can afford to hire a lawyer over this. Infact most can't even protect their own IP rights if they need too. If they could someone would have taken all of the people involved to court already. Some people like one of my friends has very little saved up over time with contest, camping 37500 so she could go premium and buy land. That money has now lost most of the value. She couldn't afford a attorney. Not everyone can or even has that ablity. Who it hurt the most was people who don't have many resources in first place who were saving for something important for themselves like the OP. They don't want to sue they just want to get something back. This has been painful lesson. Don't listen to people who say something is good deal when their is no protection. Ignore hype. And don't gift someone your Lindens with hopes of getting back even if they call themselves bank or investment company if you can't afford to never see them again.

Yes, I'm sympathetic to those who lost their contributions, but if you like hearing lawyers laugh do seek counsel. (disclaimer: as a US citizen it is alright to mock my own culture, no?)

Somehow making an account during that period of time when the transfer was happening caused an error, and i never got issued the bonds... WSE already confirmed to me that making the account messed up the transfer, but they can't do anything to fix it... and nick is no where to be found to ask him to look into it...... or he just dosn't care and ignoring the messages.

Grr I am sorry that happen to you. I guess its very convient for them. Perhaps you can consider it a loss and another reason never to trust virtual unregulated banks or Stockmarkets again. Either way even those who have bonds they still have to find sellers for bonds and take 75 percent loss or waiting out and hope the value increases. I am sorry to inform you but you've lost your money and even the bonds. Don't expect any of them including Nic to help you out. The bonds and all your money is gone. Invest in alt and good strong password and change it often and keep your money there. Or better yet just stop spending any money except what is absolutely neccessary until LL does their part to guarantee bit more protection to their consumers.
