Internet Radio

Can anyone recommend a good Internet Radio/mp3 player for sl? I need to find one for a housewarming present, and it's mind boggling out there!

I have one actually called "The Internet Radio" - that name should show up in search. My partner and I have enjoyed ours for over a year. You can search music by name, genre, artist, keywords and make presets very easily as well as add in any music URL's from Shoutcast, etc.

how do u get to shoutcast while your in the game? and do u just copy and past the url?

Thats how its done. Everything else you get on top of that makes this easier. Or the creator, and the buyer, hopes it does anyways =)

I have Internet Radio as well. Is very good as I can search for songs, stations and artists and just tune it to any station that comes up in search.

And just to add....we have about 10 presets listed in our radio (from the Shoutcast URLs) and then The Internet Radio makes it very easy to just call up the preset list and then select the station. It's done through a / type of command and green text, but still very easy.

In-world Apple sells an Ipod docking station. It looks great, but I can't get it to work.

I rezzed a 'freebie' Philco radio (1930s style) or something and I can only get one channel in but it's sufficient. 1920s jazz.

Sidenote: I first saw this in early 2007 at a designer's show and tell. I thought it was the coolest thing but was living in a rented apartment atm where I couldn't use it.

After I moved into my Partner's home, he came home excitedly one day saying he purchased this fabulous radio that would let us search for and play music. I was a bit upset he hadn't mentioned it to me before purchase so I could tell him about The Internet Radio.

I was thrilled when he rezzed it and I saw it WAS The Internet Radio. The continuing support from the designer when new features come out has been great!!
