Are land permissions messed up? (build-enable)

I am getting this problem all the time, and don't see any postings about it:

I set land to universal build-enable. I come back later and it is back to disabled. Or vise-versa, I set to no-build, and the icon even appears at the top of my screen, and my neighbor is perfectly able to throw down whatever he wants on it (as a test -- we're friends).

So today is the last straw -- I had a house for rent, set to universal build-enable (I know I'm inviting trouble) so that a new tenant can start building immediately while I'm at my RL job all day. A nice couple paid their box, but were unable to put down anything. I log in last night, give them group access, but also leave it universally build-enabled just in case. I give them a refund bonus of one day because I feel bad that they couldn't move in immediately as promised.

Today I get an IM bumped over to email that they still can't build! I'm very irritated. This is my most expensive house I rent, and these high-paying tenants have to start out with this type of annoyance.

Has anyone else had this trouble, or does someone suspect something that I am doing wrong?

in one sim where i owned land (Lampray) , and only in this one sim, the land permissions dont seem to matter

no matter what i change them to anyone can build and or run scripts

ive tested it many times and teleported many ppl over to verify its not just 'me' making a error


some sims seem to just not work





glad i sold that land i tried to abuse report my land but i could not figure out how
