Someone asked me what GPB stands for so for all of you who are dying to know it depends on whom you ask:

Has anyone actually seen these bonds? What do they look like? I sincerely doubt WSE/Ginko handed out actual certificates. This has to be a joke.

Well folks, it looks as if the GPB bonds being handed out as freebies are in fact fake ones.
So for any newbies out there: it's easy to tell if the bonds someone gives you are counterfeit or not (apart from the obvious fact that it's just too good to be true). Real GPB bonds have "In Ginko We Trust" written on them and are signed "Nick P." (Although I'll admit that last security feature is a bit hard to check, 'cause Nick's fountain pen tends to leak a lot. Or so I'm told.) |
