Help !! I have a reasonably fast PC and a pretty good graphics card and I have had no problems until I recently acquired an animated sculptie Shark. On my display the Shark jumps up and down like mad and flickers badly although friends say its working ok for them and when I log on using a different (slower) PC it seems ok. Has anyone any data on the display of animated sculpties or known problems with graphic cards ??

I've not experienced anything like what you've described. My grafix card is somewhat 'low-end' (nVidia 6300) and I frequently see sculpties starting out as spheres before the sculpt texture map is downloaded on days after I clear my cache.
Thinks... when you say animated do you mean that it morphs from one shape/position to another (i.e: cycling thru a sequence of sculpt maps)? Does the shark settle down to 'normal' animation after going through one animation cycle? It may be nothing to do with your grafix card and more to do with having to download the sequence of sculpt maps which may not be present in your cache when the animation starts. It might be worth standing your avatar near (but not in the line of sight) of the shark for a few minutes before looking at it to see if that fixes it for you. Try increasing your cache size and see if that fixes it. Also, do other people experience the same problem?
