Sometimes when someone is suspended for a short time they are sent to the cornfield

quoted from a linden.. you dont always go there.. and no it doesnt go forever, but commo is gone, and you cant leave.

EDIT::

EDIT AGAIN!:: To have it actually go forever would require a world wrapping type thing.. which.. I don't think is possible in SL

I don't think it exists any more.

Nimrod Yaffle is perhaps the most famous visitor to the cornfield but unfortunately he can't talk it about here because he's banned from Resident Answers.

(I don't think he'll mind me saying that because he mentioned it in the resmod forum the other day. :D)

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps.You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

The term "Corn field" is taken from an episode of a 1950's-60's TV series "The Twilight Zone" Hosted by Writer Rod Serling.
The episode in Question "It's a Good Life" aired on the 11th of March 1961, was written by Rod Serling, and featured child Actor Bill Mumy who would go on to Play Will Robinson on the series "Lost in Space", and as an adult, he Played Lenir on "Babylon 5"

In the episode "It's a Good Life" a six year old boy in a small town has Inexplicably developed God like Psionic Powers allowing him to alter reality to any form that pleases him. Leading him to "Wish away" the rest of the world, and Hold the small town and all it's inhabitants in his Infantile Tyrany. Anyone who Displeases him is usually subjected to his Powers, and Horribly Mutilated according to his Childish whim. The Only thing his parents, and neighbors can do is Praise him (To save their own lives) and Plead with the boy to "Wish Him [the victem] Into the Corn Field" a Place Far enough removed from town that they can no longer be seen.

"The Corn Field" is a Place you Put someone when you no longer wish to See or hear them.

Since people keep landing at my place in the sky (thanks to someone listing a classified on my land) I have changed the TP point and there's a nice rezzboxed mini cornfield (yes it is the genuine article and yes the cornfield has been disbanded by LL as far as I am aware)

Useful tip #273: Position monitor to one side. This allows you to look out of the window for inspiration/update on the weather/the postman. It also means coffee only being deposited over monitor and one knee. It only takes a wipe to clean the monitor but scrub and those letters come off the keys.

Seriously!! I have a QWIPTY keyboard here!!!!

In the cornfield there are children there. You will find Malachi playing a game called "he who walks behind the rows". Its quite fun actually, well so I have heard anyway.
