Does anyone have a problem with not being able to change the color of their hair bands and such? My ETD and Calla hair don't seem to be listening to my commands to change color. I've made sure I'm in a script allowed area and have tried different places. I can change the color by editing the prim but it's really hard with some of the hair that use lots of alpha-prims.

That happened to me the other day. I gave up and just edited the prims. It was an ETD hair, but a simple style so it was easy to tint.

I have a color-change pearl type necklace that the script seems to have broke in -- however it is No Modify. I've waited a bit to see if it was just an SL glitch and it would fix itself, but no luck. I'll now have to try and contact the creator.

That has happened to me a couple times with hair from Gurl6.......it turned out to be the script was in contents, but not 'running'. Double check your contents and see if indeed the script is running. Otherwise, I'd say contact the creator or just tint it yourself. I almost always mess with my hair tint anyway.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will look at the scripts and check if they are running. Maybe I will run some tests on my own and see if it's bug to be reported.

I've noticed that sometimes I need to go in and Reset the scripts for stuff like that, if I'd worn them into a No Script area.

OK. Well I went and moved all the flexi-prims out of the way and I found that the bands just didn't have any color change script in them! I rezzed another hair with bows and they have scripts in them. So I took that script and copied it to my hair bands. Now it works fine. Just FYI.

Has there been a change in SL permissions?
All my copies of one hair style I like a lot (+Redd+ Antoinette Halftone Red) have gone non-modify. They show fine in my inventory and I can copy or rename them there, but when I wear or rez them they're no-mod no-copy transfer. My +Redd+ Antoinette Black I got at the same time is just fine. |

They seem to tweak the details of permissions in SL on a regular basis, and sometimes permissions just break. Check on all the prims and see if one contains a texture or a script that has the wrong permissions.

No scripts, and everything was full permission when I got it, when Redd got out of the hair business.
