Yeah. Something he had turned me into a freak.

I'm kind of fresh to all this damage-enabled stuff... So just thought I'd ask.

Any ways to turn it off? Because he certainly isn't going to.

Oh, allright. Thanks.

Also, just wondering... He did this at Raglan Shire, that's not a bannable offense, right?

Not asking because I want to ban him, just wondering. I've heard using weapons and damage-enabled tools is illegal pretty much everywhere.

On a private island the owner can ban for any reason they wish.

Yes you can AR him for attacking you unless it was a battle sim.

I haven't found a RP sim where deforming weapons are used for combat, though , maybe it's an anything goes type sim.

Thanks guys.

Since I don't want to start a new topic...

I'm having problems.

I'm stuck on some island with no flight and no other areas around, and it won't let me leave.

I've tried relogging and tried multiple teleports, but to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem or is this place/me screwed up for some reason?

Yes.

But nevermind, I went to the main site and just used the SLUR to pick a random destination and it worked for that.

Wait...

Well, I'll be damned.

It's still doing it, any this time even if I try to leave on foot/air it freaks out and makes me walk/fly in that direction for a long time until it warps me back.

sounds like network issues between you and the servers

That's just Second Life choking, it does that on a nearly daily basis, and has nothing to do with you in particular.

When you cross a sim border and SL is having problems moving you from one simulator to another, you will have this kind of problem. There's a long boring technical explanation for this having to do with server-authoritative positioning and network updates and velocity interpolation, etc., but the effect is commonly called "rubber banding".

Sorry to hear you are having such troubles :(

Well, thanks to some forum users, I found the problem...

When I was on that island, I was given an item that kept me from leaving an area, so I deattached everything, put my clothes back on, and got it worked out.

FYI, an attachment couldn't have kept you from teleporting out. There is no way to do that in a script. I suspect that SL was messed up (this happens) and that it got better (fortunately, this happens as well).

An attachment could keep you from walking away, though.

Also, when you relog, before clicking the button to log in and connect, in Preferences you can set your login location to home (or any sim whose name you know) rather than "your last location". IIRC, you can set it to gibberish, and it'll plunk you down at some random telehub. There's a checkbox to always show that on the login screen, which I think should be the default.
