New Search???? How can I get there?

Hi,
This may sound stupid but how can I get my shop on the new search? It shows up on the side panel under some searches but how do i get on the main part? Is it just a matter of money?

If you are talking about getting into classifieds (which I dont think you are as you are saying you show up in the side sometimes on new search) then that is money related

If you are referring to the All search then no, money has little to do with it. Getting it into the new search just takes patience; when you set the land to show up in search under the Parcel settings, the search system takes a couple days to actually index it. As for increasing your ranking, that is a much larger question which has been discussed quite a bit in other threads.

Actually, no, not New Search. In fact, getting it to appear *not* on the side panel is *not* about the money. But it's been covered at least at an introductory level recently in the blog, at http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/03/26/tips-to-improve-your-search-ranking/ .

Camping and traffic bots mostly influence the old "Places" (and of course the completely useless old "Popular Places" search. They have only a slight (still regrettable, but slight) impact on New Search.

First thing you need to so is make sure the land your shop is on has "show in search places" ticked, that costs L$30 a week.
