I paid 3000L for a classified the other day. i was listed on the first page of the most relevant keywords. I had to update the classified a bit today and now it is completely gone from these keywords. I didn't change anything in the ad,I just updated the location.(by about ten meters but a different plot). Does it take awhile to update or did I screw something up by moving the location? There are people that paid less than me on the front page of these keywords now. Please help.

if I recall it does take a little while to update in the new search

are you looking at new search or the old?

New Search,where the classifieds are on the right hand side.I can understand it taking awhile to update,but to take my whole ad out while it's updating? That doesn't make sense. Add that too the many other problems I am having today with SL,I am about cry. Or maybe just take a nap and hope it's better later...

Rioko, it takes time to index, usually about a day. The ad will show up in the old classified tab if you look for it.

Rioko, it was buggy at first and took me two weeks to get my ad back. It's only a day now and that is probably going to be the norm. The old search should be updated right away though.

I just checked and it is in the old classifieds under all the right keywords. I was so enjoying being number three on the front page of new search though,lol. Hopefully it's there tomorrow. Thanks everyone!

Still not there over 24 hours later since I updated it. If it was $50L I wouldnt even care.But I purposely paid that much to position myself third under those keywords. Would I put in a support ticket for this or would I just be wasting my time? The first day the ad ran I had 23 visitors, the past 24 hours just 2. That's a big freakin difference.

You just jogged my memory. I did have this occur just two weeks ago. I waited I think two days and submitted a ticket. Before the next time I logged in they sent an email saying they show the classified there and were closing the ticket. I checked and it was.

Since it was only L$50, I'd go ahead and submit another classified if I was you, just to be on the safe side. I'd also go ahead and submit a ticket. What have you got to lose?

hmm so now I am not even in the old classifieds.. and the kicker of it all,I placed the ad using my basic account alt,so now I can't even make a support ticket. Unless I am reading the support site wrong,only a few certain questions will be dealt with for basic accounts.(like why can't I log in...) I know it's only around $16 dollars,but I think it sucks when you don't get what you pay for no matter how much you spend.

Ofcourse this is after I put another ad in under my main,lol. I'm gonna go drown some kittens at the hangout now to unleash my frustrations.
