Is there such a thing as a teleporter that only the owner can operate? I've seen ones that only those in the group can operate.

you could just have yourself on the list

So your final Nimbus Score is 8.15, a quite remarkable achievement for a biped. Congratulations Crunch, you should be very proud. :-)

You might check out Cubey Terra's set of free teleporters at Abbotts Aerodrome; I don't know whether any have an access list, but they are good teleporters.

I don't know because I build my own ... there are free teleporter scripts in the Scripting forum(s) for teleporters that go up to 300m (stitarget ones) as well as ones that can go up to 1048m (warppos). Most are single destination; I have one that is multiple destination warpps/sittarget (menued). It would be trivial to add a check so that only the owner could operate any of these.

I can drop you my system in world -- it's list based and has a private mode.

I love my Omega teleporters. They are the simple versions, but have options for private, group or public and can be easily set up in a notecard.
One notecard has a list of people that can access the teleporter in private mode.
The other notecard has a list of locations that you want to teleport to.

When the teleporter is clicked, a drop down menu apears with location options, and the options are dependent on who clicks the teleporter. A person that is on the 'allowed" notecard will have more options to teleport to.

Very nice set up I think.

Also,
The teleporters can be modified to make any shape prim you want...so I have mine edited to look like a plant pot so it doesn't stick out.

Depending on what kind of teleporter you want, Paskis Robinson has one that goes on the wall. You can set permissions for it via the notecard in contents. Alternatively you can pickup a keyserver script from his place that can control the TP from a drop down menu instead of using the notecard, that requires 1 extra prim but in total for a simple 1 up 1 down TP with the Keyserver it is only 3 prims.

A lot of other TP's mentioned are floor standing and seem a bit Star Treky to me but in answer to your question they are available.

I can't remember the Landmark but just search the name and look under picks.
