eBay = counterfeit. not a handbag lover- long as it holds my junk i'm happy- but this statement is a tad broad. While there are certainly many counterfits out there- there are an equal number of people that just want the stuff gone- so - no, ebay does not equal counterfeit absolutely. _____________________

I've bought enough stuff from ebay, including this Dell computer I am on right now. A lot pf legitimate wholesalers sell on ebay as a clearance outlet. They gid rid of discontinued styles, irregulars, overstocks that don't sell. Just as in RL, you just need to be carefu, do a little homework. _____________________

However, unless eBay has really cleaned things up recently, I'd be surprised if more than half of the designer goods there were authentic. With some brands, I believe hardly any are. _____________________

I know if you do not have a recipt for an item and you are not a reseller (verified) ebay will pull the item. Also, you can not list a name brand unless your account is a certain age old and have sold items previously.
But, one thing about ebay now.. their rating system... I left ebay selling off for 3 months and my rating went from 99.8 (3 years 2 negs) to 96.2 So with ebay now... you need to read what people respond to in feedback dont go by rating. people will certainly let you know if their stuff is fake or not. |
