You cannot make it not log because even though you change it and sign out and back in it still starts to log.
HOW can this be changed to permanatly NOT LOG instant messages?
unclicking the button and clicking apply and ok does not work upon logging back in.
HELP

Im getting the same thing here. I absolutly hate this new viewer and their upgrades. They should actually test this upgrades before issuing them to the residences.

Version 1.20 IS a test client. That's why it's a Release Candidate. Any bugs you find you should be creating a JIRA for so that they can be fixed. Posting bugs that you find in test software on the forums won't get them fixed.
If you don't want to participate in testing their software, you should download the current main viewer which is 1.19

From: FireEyes Fauna Version 1.20 IS a test client. That's why it's a Release Candidate. Yeah, I have a feeling that the check box will stay unchecked when it is a completed version. RCs are put out so people can test them and report back any issues they are having so the Lindens can try to fix them. You should always be prepared for some bugs and inconveniences while testing. You can always switch back to the 1.19 viewer until the RC becomes completed.
