How does one do anything other than a "market buy" or "market sell" on the Lindex? I've looked and looked and can't figure it out. Is this like a real exchange? Or have the Lindens simply fixed the exchange rate? (I haven't seen it fluctuate in ages.)

On the Your Account page, in the right hand side bar there is an option for Linden Dollar Exchange Settings - set that to advanced.

Under the "Your Account" column to the right, there's "Linden Dollar Exchange Settings." I think you'll need to select "Advanced" in order to place non-market orders.
