I've been pondering the thought of starting a magazine. Does anyone know what I use to publish the magazine to SL? I was also wondering where I could find vendors to sell it if I decide to do this. Thanks!

Lestat, get ppl advertising (clubs, webpages, shops...), that's the only way to earn money with a magazine in SL, cause they are all for free (or the most of them). Anyway, don't fill it of advertisements, if not it will be boring and ppl won't read it, then advertisers will leave...
And sorry, but have no idea how to manage/do/create a magazine  Good luck! _____________________

maybe the thinc printing press would work for mags
I thought about doing this at one time, bought the stuff to do it, then was clueless what kind of mag to make or how to even get folks to advertise in it LOL I wish you luck with it! _____________________

Well to be clear. I shouldn't have said "selling" it. I know my money will come from advertising. I've checked out thinc. I was just wondering if there where any other types of ways of publishing. I'm also trying to find vending machines for the magazine.

Check out www.secondstyle.com for an excellent example of a mag that makes money.

The Thinc Press is teh standard on publishing a magazine in SL. You can use a simple networked 'give copy of contents' script to distribute your book. ALso give it away for free on SLexchange.com
