Group Land Tier Question

When land is group owned, is the tier payment split up amongst the group, or is this just payed by the original land owner? Reason why I ask this is a friend wants to give me permission to return objects etc for land he owns but wants to be totally responsible for the land tier payment. So in other words if he deeds this land to group and myself as a member will I be billed for land tier?? And is there anythng else we should know??

A group member will not just be charged for tier, people have to specifically donate it to a group. You CAN however be charged for group liabilites (such as listing the parcel in search) if the group permissions are not set to prevent that.

Your friend will also want to set the roles such that if the land is sold, you do not get half of the proceeds from the sale, unless that is their intention.
