I keep getting a message in local chat that says just "Timed Out". I assume some script is running and sending this message. I think I may know what is doing it, but I can't seem to stop it. However, I can not verify that this object is the guilty party. I have reset the scripts as well as go into the object and chosen..Stop.

I don't want delete this object unless I have to. It is holding things that I want saved outside of my inventory and I have no idea what would happen if I take the object back...would it rez properly again with the contained items intact?

Thx,
BT

you need to give a bit more info, what's the object function, are the items it holds full permissions or mixed, ie any no copy items?

The object is a closet that holds anything from my inventory that I can transfer and wish to save. They may be no copy items if I am not using them, but for the most part, they are items I can freely move, I would say mixed permissions. I have hair, jewelry, and clothes that I value and want to minimize the risk of losing should something happen to my inventory. I have not written to the object's creator yet.

I am not 100% certain what the guilty object is. The only reason I think it is the closet is because when I stand near it, I see little lights strobe around it every once in awhile, as if I were selecting it, but I am not.

I hope I am being clear, not sure I am saying it all correctly.

You can pick it up. Your items inside won't vanish. Chances are many of those items have items inside of them too :) SL was designed with items having items inside of them in mind.
