OK, stupid question time, lol. I own a parcel of land. As land owner I started up a group and made the land group owned. I have set the land for sale, then ejected everyone from the group. The problem is, I have just realised I have left it myself, so the group actually no longer exists and there is no owner or members of it. But my land is still set to that group, and I no longer have control of it. Is there anything I can do about this? Also, once you set your land for sale, can you take it off the market again if you change your mind?

You could take it off sale if you owned it, but you don't own it. You need to get in touch with LL about it.

If the land is on a private sim, contact the sim owner. They can reclaim it and give it back to you.

If the land is on the mainland, first check your current tier usage on your account page (http://secondlife.com/account). If the tier is still donated to the group right now, you'll need to mention that because there's no guarantee they'll reinstate the group and they could just put the land in your name in which case you'd tier up and pay double for it.

What likely happened is that you ejected everyone and after 48 hours the group disbanded in which case you ignored the 24 hours in advance warning message informing you it would happen.

Groups always need 2 people to remain active.
