Go to the top menu

Edit > Groups

Select Create

You will need L$100 plus one other avatar to join (a friend or an alt)

There is a pretty good explanation of the steps in the knowledge base. I also think Torley may have a video on the subject.

This step is really important. Your group will be disbanded and you will not be able to re-open it or create one with the same name if you don't have at least one other member within, I believe, 48 hours.

*edit* checked the knowledge base, you have 48 hours to add an aditional group member before the group is disbanded.

If you go to Google and use

"second Life" How to create a new group

as your search term it gives you a link to the tutorial mentioned above.

There are lot of cases of that sort of thing - use "second life" in quotes followed by a simple question about Second Life as your search terms in google, and you get a link to an answer near the top of the list.
