hi . this is probably a easy problem but here it is.. i have this pet crow that sits on my shoulder. i bought it somewhere and dont remember where . anyway. he sits on my left shoulder. i open the inventory list and select wear and he goes directly to my left shoulder. how ever i decided to move him to my right shoulder so this time when i opened him up in my inventory i selected attatch to.. and chose my right shoulder. but he didnt sit there he sit on my right side but on side of my head.. so i remove him and just go back to the way i always did it ,,, i just selected wear so he would return to my left shoulder.. now even when i do this he sits sideways on my left side to and i cant get him to sit the right way again?? i cleared my cache and that didnt work. i restarted the game didnt work. i didnt reboot yet but i cant beleive that would do it.. can any one tell me how to just undo what i did :)

You may need to manually re-position your crow.

You can modify the position and rotation of an attachment you have on, while you're wearing it, and it should save that new position once you have it where you want it.

Just edit the item while you're wearing it.

When in Edit mode - choose Rotate, and see if that helps face him in the right direction.

Adjusting his attachment point, including rotating him, is an easy fix. Its one of the basic skills that you need to learn and that you will find extremely useful in SL.

I suggest you go to the Ivory Tower of Primitives in SL and take the self paced tutorials on how to manipulate prims. You will find learning those skills extremely beneficial in SL.

Hello Jack42! That sounds an awful lot like the pet raven I sell at The Mausoleum lol :)
I'm glad you got it figured out with the kind help here in the forums. Its always a good idea to make a copy of something before you experiment. You can do that if the item is copyable which my raven is, and you do it by right clicking it while its in your inventory and choosing copy on the menu. Then ctrl-v on the folder and it will duplicate a copy you can play with :)
