Is it possible to restrict access from new residents OTHER than with a lsl script?
I know you can script it, but I also heard of some land that you could simply not visit before you were like 2 weeks old. (The Search -> teleport there just gave an error message.)
I would love to have that solution to the private island where I'm living. (I have estate manager rights, tho I'm not the owner.)

The only thing close to that, short of security scripts, is to ban people with no payment info on file. That won't catch all new accounts, and will catch a lot of people who are far older than your range, but it will exclude most of the "new and clueless" accounts, since the new ones that file payment info or become Premium right out of the chute have usually at least read some of the info about SL and have figured a few things out on their own. To only ban those accounts that are newer than a certain number of days, you'd have to use a script.

Thanks Ceera for the answer. I thought there'd been a way. Ejecting is kinda rude, not allowing in would have been a bit more mature maybe.

Note on this script type:
It works, but requires data handoff to the SL server. Basically it's searching the person's profile to look at their age. If the SL servers are acting up *coughs* then the data may drop, or be delayed too long, and the script will kick anyone and everyone.
I strongly advise agaisnt leaving this script active without a real person nearby. Esspecially for stores. Less for private homes, but if the script can't talk to the database, then it will even kick the landowner.

Is there a specific script we're talking about here? Because a script could certainly use the DATA_BORN value returned by the dataserver from an llRequestAgentData call without adding anybody to the parcel ban list if it didn't get a response. Doing that would be a Very Bad Idea(TM).
