Hi,
a friend of mine has the following problem: every time she teleports across a shorter distance (on the same sim), her client crashes.
anyone got an idea what might cause that?

oh, and it has been like that from day one, and doesnt matter what attachment she wears, if any.

sounds like it crashes on the tp failure instead of giving a warning that the destination is to close?

the destination is on the same sim, and is not going down; last time it happened i was with her and she "mapped" to me over maybe 50 meters...

i often have trouble TPing within the same sim, but not to the point of crashing.... just rejection.  so since you know this is going to happen, just fly or walk. it's not that far. |

I fail to TP when the destination is too close, (as Alicia mentioned), but never crash. Maybe it's a question of hardware?
