The short answer is, "you can't, because BBCode has been disabled."

This was a "temporary measure" by LL...and has been, for nearly two years now.

You can get around it, though. Use Mozilla Firefox, and install the Greasemonkey plugin. See this post: /327/b2/188445/1.html

They're disabled. There are ways around it with grease monkey but that will only be for you and in firefox you used to be able to use the img tags to make it look like a proper link but not everyone uses firefox.

Using image tags makes the link invisible to a lot of people...everyone who is using Strife's script, I believe.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Thanks!

Thing is I've seen posts with working links (surfing with IE not Firefox) - that's why I thought it could be done...

Going to search for a post with links now! :)

The ones with working links were probably using image tags but, as I mentioned, doing that will just leave a blank space for a lot of us. If you want to be sure your link works for everyone, you should consider posting it twice...once with image tags and once just as plain text. The plain text WILL be clickable for those of us using the Firefox script and the other should work for everyone else.

Well, I can't see the last one - as predicted - but the other works. :)

NOW I get it!

Admits that I might be - if not stupid - 'a little slow' :)

This (without spaces in brackets):
[ img ]http://www.google.se/[ /img ]

Makes this:

Thanks everyone!
