One way, Find the group when you do a SEARCH. The group ID # is usually at the bottom of the description.

What, you want to know how to form a group?
Go to your communication window. Click the Contacts/Groups tab. Click the Create button. Enter a group name. Pay the L$100 fee. Have at least one other person join the group (it can be your own alt) within 48 hours, or the group will be deleted. Or do you want to know how to FIND a group? Open your Search window, click the Groups tab, enter a search term. _____________________

Log into your account at www.secondlife.com click your account, click Group land, and choose the group you want, click it and at the adressline you see the ID after the "="
