Intermittent Teleporting Issue

For the past 3 days, I have been able to teleport, I would say, 1 out of 9 attempts. Usually, I have to log out, and then relog back into the sim that I wish to be in. It's getting very frustrating to say the least.

Anyone else having these issues? This wasn't happening before I went on vacation, and no hardware or software changes have taken place on my PC.

try teleporting to mainland sims or home then the destination... had to do that a couple times recently due to issues with private islands/sims

Resident's have been experiencing these Issue, and the Issues with Teleport have been more frequent the past few days, but it isn't just you being affected by this.
If you're having problems with In World Functions such as Teleporting, and the problem persists and seems to just effect you, try submitting a Support Ticket.

I just wish they would give us a support ticket where you the user can decide what the problem catagory is as their own rarely fits. Anyway I did send one. My problem tonight (UK) was that I kept getting logged off. This happened 4 times so far and on one teleport I ended up in the sky with the stand up button visible (hadn't sat down in the first place) but unusuable. That was the one time I had to quit myself. In the last 2 months SL has become a total sludge at certain times and Linden Labs need to seriously upgrade and add to their servers otherwise Bill Gates will blow them out of the water!

*bump*

If the sim you're tp'ing to isn't isolated, try tp'ing to one of the surrounding sims instead. More than likely you'll be able to get to a surrounding sim and then you can just fly across the border.

I've seen a lot of closed borders lately so might not work. On another topic can you tell me what type of land I can open and play around with my boxes as most places prohibit this? For some reason my original landing place has disappeared from my landmarks. It was a log cabin in a very icy place but I forget the name. Thanks
