I used to have a tool on my Dell that told me if I was connected to the internet, it sat in my system tool area. Does anyone know of a tool like this that is free and works well, or is there something in Vista that does the same thing? I'm trying to get used to Vista, but it's a genuine PITA.

I run Vista and I have an icon that is two little monitors (one behind the other) that sits in the system tray (same place my older Dell had the little antenna icon). If I hold the cursor over it I get connection info. Do you see anything like that?
