Yes found problems logging in with First Look and RC viewers, Standard viewer seems to work better. First time I had login problems in probably 6 months.

The Windlight login screen is slower than molasses in the Arctic. I had no problem getting in with the RC one. And I had issues yesterday with all of them.

Is it just me, or does the Windlight login screen take twice to load as long as any other viewer?

THats ok Raudf, I can't use windlight at all, even though it runs better on my machine. I can't update it from the viewer and it wont download from the website - ever since that security issue last week. It needs uninstalling and re installing but i really cant be bothered.
but yes, i have noticed that it loads slower

Try the RC client its works. Windlight is dead at the moment.

Did they fix those big black rings that would appear in the sky if I set my Windlight settings for Ultra?

You need to push the slidder alittle less high. And all the black rings go bie bie

If I could see it, I'd snort anyways. It's not pretty and it takes longer to load than the previous version of the login screen. I personally find it freaking annoying, because nothing is handy anymore. File and Edit up in the left hand, instead of a Quit and Preferences button in the lower part. All that space to the right completely wasted.

In other words.. they need to hire a graphics artist and a layout artist to tell them what to do with the idiotic buttons. And I don't mean shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

Once Again The Release Client works. But Windlight is not at the moment. Use the Release Client Not the Windlight...........
