What happened to Style Disorder?

ARGH! I just recently discovered the Style Disorder blog, and I love to read it. Today, the blog simply says it closed, thanks for the support. That's it.

Anybody know what happened? I am so disappointed. They had great content.

Not meant to be an offensive comment, but didnt they do this twice already?

Blogs arent very popular either, I can understand your enjoyment in reading them, but many inworld citizens do not know of these blogs or even the forums.

Which is a pity. All those fashion blogs helped me start out with exploring the shopping world of SL a lot in the beginning, when everything seemed so...limitless and huge!
AND some are really fun to read.

Hate to say it, but when they hadn't updated in...oh what was it, a month(??), I figured this was coming.

I never knew the blog exsisted until they started featuring my stuff now and again. I'm very sad to see them go
Personally I found lots of great stuff there.

Well yeah, for the blogging community it can be fun to see the new updates and new items, etc. But I truly believe the readers are only a small percentage of the SL consumer community.

That`s why I can not comprehend why people take on this "i`m teh most cooliez!" attitude when they`re blogged. And people put so much desire into getting blogged, it`s not *that* much of a big deal.

Don`t get me wrong, I`m not saying blogs are bad, nor do I have disrespect for what they are doing, but I just feel designers need to not count on blogs and advertise their things through other roads as well.

If something of mine is blogged, great - I appreciate any exposure and the people who took the time to write about it. But if I`m not blogged, does it harm my sales? Not at all. From what I see, some designers seem to think if they`re blogged it equals and/or guarantees success, and that`s so far from the truth.
