Ghosted?

Where / who do I report to if I'm ghosted?

I've got an alt logged in right now looking at myself ghosted in my skybox...

Support ticket.

It could take minutes or days. The sim needs a restart.

If it is a private sim, just ask an estate manager.

- ghosted doesn't seem to be one of the options, so I'm guessing I should use:

That is correct.

State that your account will not log out and what sim the account is in and request that it be restarted.

In fact. You may consider the "Land and Region" issue option.

Or file two tickets one using your first options and the 2nd using the Land and Region issue option.

I know the last time an account of mine was ghosted - my ticket sat there for 4 days unanswered and it took going to the concierge to get a sim restart (took all of 3 mins from "hey my avatar is ghosted and wont log out" to when the Linden restarted the sim in question).

I'll try a second ticket. This is what I put in the first:

When it happened to me I contacted live chat via my premium account and the sim was being restarted within minutes. If your account isn't premium, maybe a friend could make the request on your behalf?

If you see your main avatar while you are logged in with an alt - have you tried some old tricks which sometimes working? I.e. sending 1 L$ to the "ghost" or try to push him/her and if possible - over sim borders (diff if the ava stands in a skybox...), or to send IM's to the ghost?

Sometimes the system takes then notice that there is something wrong and the ghost has a chance to be logged off.

It worked for me 2 times. Other people in the forums reported also that it can work sometimes - but not in any case.

If not, then a ticket and patience will be needed...

All I tried was to eject my main from her own land.
(my alt has full permissions, but I guess you can't eject another owner. )

Oh i did not know premium members had access to Live Chat.

In fact, I did not even know there was such a thing as Live Chat.

Often times ghosted avatars are phantom and cannot be pushed or affected by physical objects.

Got it resolved through live chat.

The person on the other end had to reset me several times, but I finally managed to get sorted out.
