Where is the Hidden AO?

I have removed everything from my AV. AO's, Huds, clothing, hair, all attachments; I am completely bald, naked and devoid of any and all attachments; but my AV still has one of those sexy female walks and poses. Not the normal SL issued styles. This is affecting my horse riding ability as the poor horse "wiggles" like jello instead of walking.

Why am I stuck with this animation and how do I fix it?

Did you use 'Detach All' or remove your attachments manually?

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I have no shoes on...I am a bald naked AV...

I first removed all of my items individually. When that did not work, I added everything back and then detached them all. Thinking one would work over the other.

Did you try to go into inventory, on the search line, type "worn" That will show you anything attached to your avatar.

Hmmm, well, I vaguely remember hearing stories of people who dropped AOs which continued to animate them while they were in the area....have you tried tping away since you noticed the issue? Or used a 'Stop Animation' tool? I wouldn't rely on the built in one; it's never worked for me.

Yes I've gone into inventory, typed "WORN" I am only wearing the bald hair base, my shape, skin and eyes.
Nothing else.

Probably too obvious, but you have relogged since detaching everything?

Go to you inventory and put WORN into the search filter. It will list anything you are wearing. That should narrow it down. What you are wearing will be in bold.

Yay!

If the animations start again when you go back, you might want to highlight transparent and see if you can find anything which might be an AO. Maybe look in the contents of any flooring or rugs too.

On the good side, if it is an AO that was dropped instead of detatched, it will have to ask permission to animate your avatar now.

Hopefuly it was just one of those strange things that happen sometimes and nothing more will come of it.

If you return to the place where this was happening, and you resume acting as if you had the AO on, then the AO is loose on the ground in that area. Had that happen to me once, and it was VERY frustrating searching for a tiny, almost-invisible AO HUD. But once I found it and took it back into inventory, the problem ceased.
