Hi - I've been away from Second Life for a couple of years, and now that I'm back I find that my avatar has changed a lot and, for some reason, I can no longer edit my appearance. When I right click and choose "appearance," nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Welcome back! Sounds like you are doing it right. Things are running really wonky in SL for the last week or so. It could be something that works itself out by tomorrow for you. I just tried and can go into appearance, so it is working for me. Good luck!

is it saying clothing still loading by any chance? you might need to do a cache clear relog etc
if it says clothing is still loading that would mean that some body parts (shape skin etc) have not loaded and you may (most likely) be ruthed, sometimes just have to wait for it all to load, sometimes a clear cache works

My wife has been ruthed for over an hour. Though she can go into appearance mode she can not shake the uglies.
