says "cannot connect to version manager" it starts to login and then you get that message. There are technical support forum people who can't connect and I thought this was fixed? Is it broken again?

Not that as a "free account" although i pay almost 75 bucks in tier per month can contact anyone but ?

looks like its very broken now. I got this yesterday for a couple of minutes and it then resolved, but it looks like whatever was breaking is very broken or they fixed it and its broken again.

What's frustrating is that I was making a complete vehicle out of sculpties and i'm chomping at the bit to start uploading the textures to see if they worked. Its my first try at a large object made of multipe sculpties and it wont let me in.. gah

*fidget*

p.s. its been like this for about half an hour now....

This was happening to my other half the other day consistently. here is what we did to fix it and he hasnt had a problem since.

Completely uninstalled SL. Removed every reference to SL in the registry. Downloaded a fresh copy of SL and installed that.

GIven the number of duplicate registry entries we suspect something is corrupting or choking.
