So I have a premium account with Second Life and I want to get another account for my fiancee. The site states this costs $9.99, but I don't know how to get to the point where I can make one. Is there any way I can make an additional account for her that is linked to my account. Or should I just go ahead and have her make her own new free basic account?

they aren't charging for alt accounts right now. if she makes her own with her own contact info, you can't link it to YOUR credit card.

Or should I just go ahead and have her make her own new free basic account? accounts do not get linked to other accounts a second (third, fourth, etc) account is known as an alt (alternate account) and it seems that there is no limit just have her make an account and all is good

Silly in these circumstances, but intended as a protection against misuse. |

Just have her make it. It doesn't cost a thing and I know.. because I'm premium on my main, Trill is my alt and my husband has two of his own. He used his own information, however.

I have different email info on each of my accounts and yet I have 4 of them using the same Paypal account. Best I can tell, that payment info is the only way those accounts could be associated by LL, though as far as I know, they are not currently cross-referencing that.
So simply have your partner create an account and if you want that account to use the same payment info, you can do that.
