Hi everyone,

I have been looking for nice candles for a new house, and I am having a hard time finding anything good.

Do you guys have recommendations to make? The house will have dark, modern style.

Hi, I bought my candles from one of the shops at the Lost Gardens of Apollo, owned by the same guy who built the sim, I think. You buy them separately or in a set. Not cheap but infinitely copyable so you can have as many as you like out.

Not in world right now, but I can send you the name of the creator later if you like.

PS. Sorry all. I know we we're trying to have a flame-free Sunday, but ...

Cory Edo has both nice color changing candles and gorgeous prefabs. Search her name and TP to her store from her profile picks.

The other sure bet for houses is Ace Albion. Low prim, low price, great designs. Search Ace's Spaces. :)

EDIT: Whoops I misread your OP and thought you were looking for candles AND houses. :o

Okay, the creator is Dane Zander. Check his profile under classified. Apollo Harbour shops. The candles are called: "Apollo" Ethereal full candle set.

Good luck:)

Mike's Patio , Roosa (227, 112, 27) has great sculptie candles. Inexpensive and some sets are copyable, some are colorable.
Ramos Designs Furniture - Ramos Designs (178, 227, 27) has some nice glow candles.
and
Sky Designs on L'utopie, L'Utopie (93, 101, 29) has some exotic ones with great script flames and smoke

A second vote on Ramos Designs - All different types of candles. Not sure if it would go well with modern design, but Safira's Fantasies has some AWESOME candles - especially nice are the tall floor candles. Her's are spread out around the store.

Safira's stuff is brilliant! But there is one BUT: because she designs for Goreans and Gorean sims, her stuff is very prim heavy. Gorean sims are primelicious:)

Even tho you've probably already got candles, two more to thing about! For a modern place, you might want to consider luminaria instead of candles, more of a modern look.

Robin Sojourner just released new scripted candles and luminaria:

And the Baron's candles, at the Relics store, are lovely. The flames are a very unique slow glow.

Well, my candles are totally unimpressed by threats from rain. They scoff at rain.

cool thanks, I look at her place a lot, saw that tutorial, but at the time had no tools for making sculpty

finally bought rokuro (love it) and made a hat and I beam

I Know not much, but it is a start
(I like the hat, think I will make some hair to go with it so it looks proper, without my hair sticking out LOL)

edit, for some reason the link to her blog is not working...

Great candles can be found at Dark Paradise. I've managed to purchase every assortment offered there! :)
