Resource list for faeriers and mermaids

I am putting together a resource list for faeries and mermaids, and need some input.
I'm looking for suggestions of shops, designers, animations, clothing/costumes/avatars, skins, hair, eyes, etc.
I'm also looking for recommendations for the various sims where faeries hang out, or that mermaids go to to swim and be with other merfolk. Can be role-play, or just friendly spots.

When I have the info compiled, I will post it on my blog and notify the list.

Very funny! For those of you that don't know, that is my build. It's still a work in progress, but all are welcome - humans can swim there too (or they will, after I put the script back into the ladder).

I have a little bit of mermaid stuff that I have found/purchased over the years. Haven't found anything truly stunning yet. In my roleplay Ceera is supposed to be able to shapeshift to a mermaid, as an alternate form. But the only one I bought so far has the body swimming upright, with a stiff prim tail trailing behind. Looks sort of like a fishy centaur. If you find a really good looking one, especially if you find one that can be used with existing skins for the upper body or that would also work with a furry upper body, I'd like to know. Sure would be nice to have one that used a flexi prim tail.

I spend occasional time with a fishy tail from Sirena (with a Victorian bathing costume for the top half, thank you very much). I have fancier, with more fins and whatnot but the gold remains my favourite. Lovely shimmery texture, flexi, and extremely reasonable (200L, IIRC).

Not to blow my own conch shell, but I sell a "mermaid typer" on the SLEx. Nothing fancy, just makes bubbles and bubbly sounds when you chat.

Infinity Designs - the main products are flapping wings for faries with lots of nice built in features like creating particle trails of butterflys or rainbows.

I know there are lots more elven-type areas and more that sell faerie garb, animations, etc. Ditto for mermaids and other fae. Keep those suggestions coming so I can have a great resource list to put together to help us all out!

Rua sim, Cave Rua encourages mermaids and related RP (PG), it also is the best place in SL to buy underwater reefs, fish and similar landscaping elements.
