I've been selling off some land to raise money to buy some better land adjoining my home. So I got a quick sale and to help cut tier payments next time round, I sold a 512m plot at the very cheapest. Soon a guy turned up to buy it - not a bot but a thinking being. Then he immediately put the land back for sale complete with dazzling sale signs - for just L$ 26 more than I sold it for!!! So where's the question? Well, here it is: - why would he do that?

I could see him from my roof and he must have been there 5 mins, and after he put the land back on sale it was still unsold after 1.5 hours! What a difference L$ 26 makes!

It was a bot, or somebody who sells land based on a program of some sort, and they think they can make a tiny profit, it doesn't matter if it's really small, what do they have to lose?
And the parcel you sold will be covered with 16m2 ad plots in, oh, a day or two.

Land has gone a bit strange.. That or residents have.
I have a friend who had a 512 for sale for L$8k in a class 4 mainland sim - no beach or anything nearby. Somebody bought it, big surprise in itself but, within a day, it was abandoned and set back to the Lindens. Weird.

From: Annabelle Babii Maybe he just needs $26l for a new skin? It would have been easier if he had just gone into group chat and asked to "borrow" L$26.

He did that so he could give the people begging for $25L and spamming groups, and have one Linden left over for himself.

Weird. i agree that some residents have gone a bit strange. this past july, i has a neighbor put up two 1024 plots for sale. well over the market price at that time. when they didn't sell ... rather than reducing the price ... she just abandoned them to the guv. even more weird, this land then went up for auction ... and the person who bid and won all this land .. left it undeveloped for the past 3 months. i see it went on sale yesterday. again, overpriced for the current market.
