"Gesture is Missing Fomr Database"

I have been wondering the same thing, but I only get one of these messages.

How do I figure out which gestures are ?? corrupted ??.

Dunno! I think I get so many cause I made SO MANY Gestures...probably about 50 since I been on SL, aint got all of em still...but "Not Found In Database" means it's a server-side problem...that's about all I know...

ALSO, I just re-installed Windows day before yesterday so nothins corrupted on this end...it's been doin this since the update before this last one, don't get it

So I had one of those too, I opened my most recently created gesture which was bold in inventory, but active strangely was NOT checked in the window!? Because that was obviously odd, I checked and saved it, happily eliminating that error.

Although this has been answered a couple times, nobody has come back with their results. Presumably it solved their problems too, because otherwise they'd probably want some other options I guess?

I'm getting this too. It seems to have started for me
after I created and deleted some custom gestures.

Same Same.........for weeks now, its bad enough scripted objects scripts are MISSING But gestures too?!

I went through my Gestures & deleted a lot of em ...the more I deleted, the less errors I got when I logged back in, but it WAS a nice feature ta have while talkin, etc...so we can add more PERSONALITY ta the av movements & what not...

For instance when my av laughs, my RL laugh .wav plays insteada the default "Ah ha ha ha ha ha" that sounds like Pierce Brosnan. Oh yeah, & I can wave to somebody without sayin "Hey!" in that "pedofile voice" (j/k)

DAM! I was hopin that maybe I could sacrifice all my custom Gestures just ta get rid of the error, thanks for tellin us Nyoko...

Well at LEAST they got it in the Bug Database...I agree, it must be a server-side problem w/ thier default Gestures

Are these gestures in an AO?

I get two of those when I log in, but only if I am wearing an AO that I made which constantly shifts various default facial gestures. So, the problem is in one of the default gestures.

A temporary fix to avoid the error spam is to take off the offending AO

I don't feel like searching for the offending gestures, but if someone else does, I believe it is one of the "express" gestures, i.e. ""express_open_mouth"

HMM...well nah, not GESTURES...but ya know I dropped in Anims that I bought from 6ixth, Abranimations and 1 from Hammer Animations into a Framation (sp?) Overrider. I think 1 or 2 of em might have facial expressions, I forget

BUT that's kinda a weird msg ta get for a Animation...since SL has Animations & Gestures separate, already included by default???

I have abotu 50 to 100 spamming me as i log in, missing gesture ect. I tried deleting some dosent fix it i hit control g and found id lost alot that are still active im losing alot lately. "its so bad i multi crash i log in and crash now or tp crash log in crash as i log in and maybe on the 4th try i get to stay. its getting stupid for me(edited to add this i forgot to mention the issues and impact its having on my game)"

Anyhow i relised that the ones that are active that are missing never stop loading i cant remove or delete them its so frustrating Im not sure what to do i have sent a message to a bug linden i dont know what else to do, but ive had no joy i went to help island and im kinda now lost

Don't delete them! Some who have, still got the error message and had eliminated their ability to stop it...



The most recent I had this happen with was easy to spot as it wasn't bold in my inventory...

(Although I had seen a workaround in case of deleted ones on a thread yesterday I think, maybe the trick was to make a new gesture with the same trigger? Then re-activate it???)

Yes, that was the trick. Also, another post in one of the other forums suggested selecting all of the gestures in a folder, and repeatedly toggling Activate and Deactivate until they were all either off or on, then going back and activating just the ones you want.
