I was editing my skin and found an object skin in my inventory named: "Skin Naughty fem sexy". Did not know which skin was that and decided to wear it. And I got a terrible surprise. Now I look like a troll!
It was a big mistake, because I can't remove this skin. When I try to put a different skin on, the troll skin does not disappear. I have trying to remove by "corruption skin" step-by-step, but it does not work either.

Clear cache first and relog. Then put another skin on - make sure all clothing and attachments are off and then go to the Advanced menu (Ctrl+Alt+D if you don't see that menu), select Character, and then Rebake (I think that is the right place for that).

Also make sure that what you put on wasn't a shape, rather than a skin. It's not clear what "look like a troll" means - it sounds to me like you might have changed your shape. Trying changing your shape as well as your skin (as well as following Lil's suggestions) and see if it helps.

And if you are having trouble and not sure about the shape/skin thing, go down to the Library in Inventory and completely take yourself back to one of the starter avatars. Then change back to a shape you want and then back to a skin you want.

object skin When you say it was an object, it sounds like you put on some sort of attachment. Search your inventory for the object and detach it. _____________________

Thanks a lot for all replies. I got fixed my avatar (sounds). I was wearing a "troll shape" and had noone else to replace, thats why. A great soul helped me and gave me a new shape.
The bad part, I had to edit everything again but I got back my normal shape. Anyway, nobody deserves to look like a troll. Hugs all ^.^ P. Porchers |

OK pacchie now that your back. Take a moment to go into apearance mode and create an outfit. Include your new shape and skin, your normal daily hair, anything that makes Pacchie unique. Might be prudent to include some undies. Save this file as( Pacchie restore). Then drop it in your bodyparts folder.
Now forevermore you can have Pacchie back in a blink from just this one folder. I also do this everytime I make a major change, and add a date so I know whats current Enjoy |
