Looking for help, Clothing.

Greetings, i have been playing second life for a while and now i have encountered an issue. When i am going to create clothing i... Well, I can not create clothing because the creator refuses to obey its master! However, the problem is that i can't change the length of the clothing piece. for exaple; when i try to create a pair of gloves they stretches around the entire torso and i can't do anything about it! ... Sorry, lost my mind again. Then there is a second problem. it is the same with the texture, when i choose a texture for the clothing it just becomes a single color. For example; I choose brown leather for my gloves and these stupid gloves won't use the texture, They're just becoming damn brown! Sorry... So if anyone knows a solution for the problem, please write it down in this tread. Please, i beg you of all of my soul... Sorry again.

Set the color to white and the color of the actual texture will be used - otherwise the color and texture are used together.

You want gloves to stretch 'around the torso'? I do not think that is possible. If you really want that for some reason, you will probably have to add prim attachments for the 'around the torso' effect.

Also, if you have not done so, I suggest attending a few classes on Basic Clothing creation.

If gloves are stretching around the torso (which they're not supposed to if using the glove layer), it sounds to me like it might be related to the video driver issue that makes shoes color the whole lower half, and just like all the "help my top/skin/pants is all black" threads in this forum. Hard to tell though..
