So I am rather pleased with the spare tyre/tire texture I made for another project .Looks too good to not use again,any way I paid L$10 for the upload.LOL .
Then I think, great I will make a tyre/tire swing.You know,rope ,tire, tree and swing .great ,job done and with a little sit I am swinging away ,no problem.I decide to sell this as a fun item take my photos and bang it on the exchanges.
Now my question ,just before I put it up I have another go.Oopps!!! the camera and the whole screen started moving ,backwards and forwards,enough to make me feel ill.What has gone wrong?I don't think I touched anything .Has anyone got ideas please.feeling queezy

You cam is focused on your Avi. When the avi moves, the cam moves. As you swing with the cam focused on the Avi, you appear to remain "still" in the frame while everything ELSE moves. It happens on any/every swing in SL.
Focus your cam on a nearby object, like the ground behind you. (alt-click the location) Now the cam will stay with that patch of ground, the ground will appear motionless while your Avi visibly arcs with the swing.

Superb ,worked a treat .I made a hammock along while ago and the same thing happened ,I binned it and have not used swing since.It was hit and miss weather it worked right,now I get it.I will make a notecard up and include it .Thanks for the quick info ...Cheers

Yes I get truly bad.Some of the vid games my sons play make sea sick which is not nice on dry land.

From: Drivin Sideways (alt-click the location) It's taken me 2 bloody years to learn about alt-click.I have been muddling through all this time ,When I think of the times I've had to clck up and down trying to get a good shot. I am now like a kid with a new toy Alt-clicking all over the place.
