Hi,

Visit our 50 000m² mall and have a look around.
There are only a few shops left at the moment.

Firstly be aware that mall spaces are not highly productive, it is best to consider them an advertisement with the benefit of occasional sales. That being said, you want to find a mall that actively tries to bring people in, with events etc. I have a spot in a mall that has great events including occasional fashion shows, that is the kind of thing you should look for. Make sure the mall's traffic numbers are generated by traffic and not by a big box o' bots...traffic numbers don't mean much if no-one shops there.

Try to put yourself in a place where the atmosphere matches your product, for example if you make biker clothing, you want a biker type sim, etc.

The mall I am talking about above is Floating Comet mall, they don't usually have many available rentals but it might be worth it to check it out. It is a content creator mall only though, if you are a reseller, they wouldn't be able to accomodate you.

Same here, several renters have it, especially the bigger shops

Ah! Gotcha- so what u want is to purchase land in or near an established Mall- must have missed where u said that- sorry. That I do not have a recommendation for other than to say I bought land from Sara Nerd and she treated me well- while there are lots of real estate folks out there, I have personally had good experience with her. I don't know if she does commercial but it can't hurt to check. In any case, an experienced Agent woudl be your best bet- they did the footwork or you. Good luck.

Edited to add that no, I didn't miss it- you specifically said rent- so you got rent suggestions. Sorry- am out of suggestions, but good luck anyway.

I suggested Sara Nerd although I do not have an idea if she does rentals- it certainly cannot hurt to ask- she may be able to point you to someone who does.

But- I will tell you, it seems it wd be a good idea to walk around and go places - see how many people there are there- again keeping in mind that bots are just a waste and misleading. Check where folks are shopping at different hours. Rentals can be pricey- any where from a percentage of your sales to say hmm- 50/week to 2k per month- it all depends. How many prims you need how much the owner knows folks are willing to pay. Probably a higher trafficked place will cost u more. There is a mall (or there was-it's been a while) at Frank's Place, at Phat's - at many major spots- Think about what you want to do when you go out. Last night I was in a place called Venice that had a few folks walking about and really lovely stores. Take a look at the Undying Thread- I left a slurl there. Do share where you go and I am sure some will pop over to see your wares.

Just chipping in here...

There's a sim that was mentioned in another thread that sounds exactly what you are looking for. It's layed out in streets, like a town center, with stores, and it's very nice build with a good traffic figure. But the person who mentioned it was seething, because the traffic was due to 7 bots that were not all in a group. They were mannequins in a large store's windows, and they generated almost 100% of the traffic figure.

So, if you intend to rely on the place's existing traffic (passers-by), as well promoting it yourself, don't be impressed by what you see. Be sure to do as has been suggested - check the sim/parcel for bots, and check the traffic number against the number that the bots generate. One bot generates 1440 of the traffic number in 24 hours; 10 bots generate 14400 of it.

It was here:- /327/57/285662/10.html

PennyWhistle brought it up in post 247. The sim was never posted, but she told me where it is and I went to look. You can PM her to get it. I forgot to mention that it's one huge parcel; i.e. stores are not on their own parcels but that doesn't mean that the owners won't cut a parcel out if asked.

Wicked was me, btw.
