Question about using the Arrow and Home / End Keys in Chat

So here I am .. used to hitting the home and end keys a lot inside chat boxes.. as well as shift arrow.. all the fun MS stuff you use when typlorizing on your Komputorrr.

Currently when I hit the home key in Item edit.. it does what it is supposed to do ..same with end.

But..

In the chat box.. when I hit home it launches me like a rocket into fly mode and the arrow keys do nothing at all



Is there a way to fix that annoying inconsistent behaviour?

There's a check box in Preferences/Text Chat, "Arrow Keys Always Move Avatar while Chatting".

Try unchecking this and see if it helps you.

I think the chat bar that's anchored to the bottom of the screen always ignores the movement keys and the other one, where chat is in a floaty window, allows them.
