Thank You. Hi Apollo some thoughts: - try sitting in the boat and then using the arrow keys to move - try re-reading the notecard - it can sometimes be a temporary glitch - contact the creator and see if they can give you a new notecard - go to one of the sailing clubs and see if there is anyone there with more expert knowledge Hope that's of help Inc

Holiday has an update group called Holiday Yacht Owners.
Join and ask for help there.
Basically: Rez the boat. Right click and select Board; "Move" the sails with the Up Down arrow keys. With Holiday sail boats the sails don't actually move but the effect is as if they do. You want the sail to be at 1/2 the angle of the wind direction
You should get the basic Taco instructions for general SL sailing info. You can get a free Taco at the SLNE Marina in Nantucket. There is a gazebo at the end of the first pier. You can get the free Taco in there.
Starboard's Yacht Club in the Hollywood SIM has a free sailing class every Sunday.

Watch the wind indicators, if your model has one, and try to "train" the sail appropriately.
Some models have a spoken command to raise the sail as well after you board. I'd recommend contacting the maker for another notecard -- most of the nicer models come with rather well-written, detailed documentation that should have you sailing in no time!
