How do I set mouselook to an overhead view?

Mouse look is another way of saying 1st person view mode. If you are in a top down view, it is not going to be mouse look. You can turn on "View avatar in mouse look" so that looking down will show your feet. That is the bottom check mark on the Input & Camera tab on the options page.

That might work as well, thanks Rhonda.
That may be what the person who told me "mouselook" meant. English was not her first language.
Is there a way to keep the camera view overhead while walking so it doesn't snap back to the default behind av view?
